Irina and Rick wedding – Rotterdam Wedding Photographer. It was an honour for me to photograph this beautiful wedding.
When Irina contacted me, she told me that she doesn’t want to have standard wedding photos. She wanted to have something different from her big day.
That was the moment when I understood that we are on the same vibe. And that it will be fun working with this couple.
The ceremony started at Irina and Rick house. Irina comes from Kiev, so at their wedding were a few Ukranian traditions. For example her mother cooked “Karavaj” (Loaf). It is a Ukranian and Russian tradition to give it to newlyweds. “Karavaj” is considered as a symbol of happiness, prosperity and abundance.
Then we moved towards the City Hall where they said “YES”! to each other.
After the City Hall we went together with the newly married couple to a very beautiful place close to the harbour and had a creative photo shoot with the balloons there. After that we moved to the park. Where guests and many decorations were waiting for us. As a wedding photographer I was very delighted to see so many décor that Irina and Rick organised for a photo shoot. We had Ukranian and Dutch flags, flowers, different letters, leaves and hearts.
All of that in combination with a beautiful landscape of Rotterdam made the pictures look truly amazing.
The ceremony ended in the restaurant next to the river with a beautiful view over the Dutch Windmills.
I am happy to share with you the result from my recent wedding photoshoot.
One week ago I had a chance to shoot a very beautiful wedding in Holland with these incredible love birds. Who’s love to each other can be seen from the moon.
And by looking at whom I want to buy a ticket to Paris and walk next to Siena listening Joe Dassin and thinking about love 🙂
Their weddingphotoshoot took place in a small city close to Amsterdam, called Purmerend.
We met before the big day to discuss all the details about their wedding. And when Melissa showed to me a photo of her wedding dress, I gave them an idea to have a photo shoot in two dresses. First in the official dress and then later on in a more comfortable dress to have more abilities to move to be able to take different type of photos.
We met first in their house where the beautiful bride Melissa with the help of her mum and best friend was getting ready.
She was very nervous as all the brides to be. And her mom and best friend were helping her with the dress and with letting the stress out. Then Ray arrived to see his future wife in her absolutely gorgeous wedding dress for the first time. And we went to the park next to their house for a photo shoot where we had so much fun with taking photos with the bubble machine and confetti.
I was very happy to be chosen as a photographer by Melissa and Ray.
Ray is a tattoo artist himself and when we met for the first time before the wedding he told me that he as an artist understands the difficulty when clients are telling you what to do. That’s why they give me all the freedom to do whatever I want. And it all went amazing.

I absolutely love photographing weddings! Weddings are always full of love and happiness. And as a photographer I love to capture pure and real emotions.
This time I was photographing a wedding of Oksana and Bogdan. Who are my friends. And I was very honoured when they have chosen me as a photographer for their big day.
They decided to have their wedding ceremony at a very beautiful place in The Hague called Old City Hall. Which is located on the Groenmarkt near the Grote Kerk. This place used to be a former seat of the city’s government and now is used for wedding ceremonies. This building isn’t only beautiful from it’s facade, but inside interior doesn’t not concede to the outside. It’s built in the Renaissance style and has a lot from that era.
After the ceremony and photo shoot inside of the Old City Hall, we moved to another location to celebrate this beautiful day when two people gave a commitment to be devoted to each other until the rest of their lives. The dinner took place at the restaurant at the Westbroekpark. And after that we had a photo shoot at the Rosarium. We were very lucky with the time of the year, Rosarium was full of roses different kinds. Many of them were red and white which match the dress of the bride perfectly. We had a nice walk at the Westbroekpark and stopped at the nicest spots for the photos.
Below you can see the result of that beautiful wedding day.
